Missouri Lawyers Media and "Big Law" stuffing the Ballot Box | The Simon Law Firm P.C.
July 1, 2026
Albert B. Pepper, reporting - Phoenix rising Productions LLC.
Received this morning in my email was a notice from Missouri Lawyers Media that July 1, 2026 as the deadline for nominating "Rising Star" talent.
In Response, Albert B. Pepper Jr. sent an advisory to Missouri Lawyers Media with regard to a specific and potential peer revied candidate and that of Elizabeth C. McNulty Mo. Bar #72026 of the Simon Law Firm P.C. who has been the prior recipient of such accolades based upon peer review nominations and of course in consideration of the Simon Law Firm P.C. sponsorship of M.L.M. events.
Pepper suggested that it would be prudent to consider the actual attorney , lawyer professional conduct for consideration and not only curated peer review promotions.
Below is the text of the email received from M.L.M. Peppers response email and the evidentiary package for legal malpractice and professional misconduct of Elizabeth C. McNulty for their consideration.

When you receive your nominations for various peer accolades this is an advisory of the current controversy regarding Elizabeth C. McNulty Bar Number 72026.
Elizabeth C. McNulty violated multiple rules of the Missouri Model Rules of Professional conduct and committed tortious acts of nonfeasance, misfeasance and Malfeasance while acting as lead counsel in the matter of Pepper v Gelfand (case #19SL-CC04680)
Elizabeth C. McNulty engaged in this activity while she was president of the Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis 2023/2024.
Attached is a link to Academia Edu that hosts the evidentiary package containing prima facie and conclusive evidence that supports the allegations.

The Evidentiary package which is one of several compiled in a thematic format is attached for review to this email in pdf format.
I would consider it prudent for Missouri Lawyer Media to practice due diligence before awarding and bestowing accolades upon any candidate per peer review referrals without regard to verifiable and documented legal competence, ethics and capacity.
Sincerely,
Albert B. Pepper Jr. Phoenix Rising Productions LLC

The "Public Relations Industrial Complex" of "Big Law" and of The Simon Law Firm P.C. (which even impacts the "objective reporting" of local legacy news media ie. KSDK News Channel Five) is a handicap to any and all clients doing due diligence in seeking legal counsel. The over advertisements obscure the true record and the attorney client relationship dynamics.
Hold "Big Law" accountable and make their conduct transparent. - It is in the interests of the consumer and the public at large to expose the charade.
Please sign the petition and support an up and coming legislative initiative to support law firm transparency.
