Eliminate Hindi From RCB's Social Media Handles to Uphold Kannada Heritage

Eliminate Hindi From RCB's Social Media Handles to Uphold Kannada Heritage
The Issue
This campaign calls on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to set an example of cultural inclusiveness and respect by ending the imposition of Hindi on their Hindi-based social media handles. Hindi does not represent the linguistic diversity of India and is not the primary language of all Indian citizens or RCB supporters. The 2011 Census data indicates that merely 41% of Indians speak Hindi, clearly demonstrating the linguistic diversity of our broad nation. By favoring Hindi, we inadvertently alienate non-Hindi speaking cricket supporters, particularly the Kannadigas, who constitute a considerable part of RCB's fan base. We recommend that RCB leverage the power of India's multilingual heritage and create an inclusive space where every supporter feels equally respected and represented, irrespective of their linguistic background. Join us in urging RCB to eliminate Hindi from their social media handles and instead use a language-neutral platform or incorporate more Kannada, and English, which is more commonly used throughout India. Sign this petition and show your support for linguistic diversity and equity in India.
