Aadhaar for Voting: The movement is growing. It needs your support.

Thanks you all for the support. In less than 5 days the petition has garnered about 150 signatures and the number of signatures is increasing steadily. I have created a facebook group named 'Aadhaar for Voting': https://www.facebook.com/groups/1568929593125953/ I welcome you all to join the group and to share your feedback about how the movement could be taken forward. The facebook group is an attempt to bring together anyone who supports this movement. You can help by sharing the petition and by helping the awareness grow. Feel free to contact me directly either through the facebook group or by leaving a comment at the petition page. The supporters of this petition are not the only ones seeking this change. Incidentally another 20 petitions have cropped up on Change.org with same or similar agenda(s). In the meantime, Dr. Nasim Zaidi, the 21th Chief Election Commissioner has retired today and Achal Kumar Joti, formerly the Chief Secretary of Gujarat, has taken over in his place. Dr. Nasim Zaidi who turns 65, would possibly be working at the Election Commission of India till Jan next year.
