We, the undersigned, are AGAINST Singleton Stone, LLC quarry in Indiana. This quarry will increase the amount of water, sand and sediment that is discharged into the Kankakee River.  In addition, this water could potentially contain VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) from a nearby leaking underground fuel storage tank. These factors will have an adverse effect on fish and wildlife including the endangered Sheepnose mussel.

We are IN FAVOR of and in desperate need of Federal and State funding for the Momence Wetlands, from Momence, Illinois to the Stateline. We support positive measures to control flooding along the Kankakee River in both Illinois and Indiana. The Kankakee River in Momence, Illinois is at a critical point of destruction and action needs to be taken NOW!
