We made TV!

Thank you to all who contacted the San Jose City Council last week to stand with Workers and to use the opportunity to evaluate how a Public Bank could benefit the people of San Jose. The motion was passed with unanimous support! We even made the local news!  We had 15 awesome people speak in support at the council meeting, while the Wells Fargo employees in the crowd didn't get up to say anything. 

For those of you who didn't get the chance to email in support, we have another opportunity. The city council's official support for AB857, the public bank bill in Sacramento, is on the agenda tomorrow as part of Agenda Item 3.4. And again, Jimenez, Peralez and Carrasco have put out a memo in support.
