In our current system, it's the party members who choose the leader to serve as Prime Minister, a position that is critical for the entire nation. This process is undemocratic and fails to truly represent the will of the people. I believe that the Prime Minister should be someone the people, not just party insiders, choose to lead our country.

It's not sufficient to simply vote for a party. We deserve the opportunity to directly elect the person who will lead our nation. The Deputy Prime Minister should also be an elected position, ensuring a dynamic and representative leadership.

Our political system should be about building leaders, not merely collecting party members. The current system limits our choices and weakens our democracy. It's time to shift from an indirect method of selecting our highest leaders to one that involves and reflects the choice of every voter. Less membership. More leadership.

This change will ensure that our leaders are truly accountable to us, the citizens, and not just a handful of party members. Let's make our democracy more transparent, participatory, and truly representative.
