It’s been a fantastic week for Save Our Sun, thank you everyone who has helped - in particular the team at Fight4FourMarks, who have been sharing their experience with us. We’ve got 861 signatures on our petition, and even more importantly, 83 formal objections to the planning application have been submitted to East Hants District Council. We’re in communication with the council’s planning office to ensure that your voices are heard, and we’ve received a letter of support from Damian Hinds MP, who has also written to the council to ask them to ensure that the objections are properly considered. Despite that, we’re by no means out of the woods yet, so we’re preparing a detailed response to the economic statement in the planning application, and we’re going to be analysing the petition results when it closes on 25th February to ensure that the council understand the strength of local feeling.
