The tragic plight of dogs used in Egypt for dogfighting is nightmarish. Dogs are chained to cement walls like inanimate objects. They often have no food, no water and are muzzled. There are puppies and young dogs as well as elderly dogs with failing health. This is a very barbaric place. Children are present and encouraged to whip and beat the dogs. People are indifferent to the astronomical suffering of the dogs. Most dogs used are German Shepherds as well as other mixed breeds.
