Dogs are being killed in ever increasing numbers in Egypt. Both civilians and the government agents show animosity towards dogs and kill them in various methods. Stabbing dogs, throwing them out windows, using them for dog fights, poisoning them is frequently used to get rid of dogs. These sentient animals are treated like garbage. They are frequently shoveled into garbage as they are sick and dying of starvation and blood parasite disease and scabies. The only concrete step to lower the dog population that is humane and dignified is spay and neuter. Egypt for some reason refuses to implement this. We can spend our vacation money in places that do not advocate these cruel practices!
