Earlier this month, the hospital did begin allowing exceptions for laboring women to bring their doula along. Now the official visitor policy has gone back to allowing all admitted patients to have two care partners. I know that the COVID case numbers is the primary driving force behind this change but I like to think that the public pressure and the awareness raised by all you awesome supporters played a role as well!
