It has been nearly three years and I have yet to receive a follow up or response as promised

Greetings, Damon Barone, Alief ISD parent, taxpayer, and alumnus.
I want to share an audio recording snippet of a May 06, 2019 meeting with the Board President, and the Superintendent.
This audio recording is from the one hour and fifteen-minute mark of the one hour and thirty-one-minute-long meeting, which I have posted on YouTube titled, “05-06-2019 Meeting with President Ann Williams and Superintendent HD Chambers”.
It has been nearly 2 years and I have yet to receive any type of follow up or response.

Parent Damon Barone: Well again thank you for the opportunity. Thank you for the opportunity, this is definitely a step in the right direction, and at the end of the day this is all that I have been asking for is to be listened to like anybody else, or how you would want to be listened to if the shoe was on the other foot. Notice I haven’t said anything about outcomes. We have just sat here and had a conversation and I feel much better.
Board President Ann Williams: This was a first to begin.
Parent Damon Barone: This is what should have happened a long time ago, and I pray and I beg that this type of situation does not happen to anybody else, and if it does know that it is as simple as sitting down and having an honest conversation with the constituents and community members, that they deserve to have the opportunity to have their side of the story told or listened to or whatever. So, thank you again Mr. Chambers. Thank you again Ms. Williams. My only few questions that I have now is when should I expect to hear back from you, in what manner, and what should I do if I don’t hear back from you by then?
Board President Ann Williams: So honestly, I would have to say I need at least, I need at least a two-week window.
Parent Damon Barone: Ok.
Board President Ann Williams: For a response.
Parent Damon Barone: Ok.
Board President Ann Williams: The reason why I am saying that is because the board is coming together to have a meeting tomorrow.
Parent Damon Barone: Ok
Board President Ann Williams: But this is not one of the items that is on the agenda.
Parent Damon Barone: Ok
Board President Ann Williams: You see what I am saying? And so, it is not something that, if, if I go in and I talk to them about this and you hear about it, again that’s one of the open meetings act, so it can’t be done in that manner.
Parent Damon Barone: So, two weeks from today?
Board President Ann Williams: Give me, give me at least two weeks to say what happened, and it might just mean, it might just mean Mr. Chambers us coming back to the table and having another discussion.
Parent Damon Barone: In what manner will you be communicating or reaching out to me?
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: Let us call you. Can we call you, and or set up another conversation? Or, or, ideally, I can ask all of these questions and get all of this information fairly easy.
Board President Ann Williams: Yea you can get your information. Because here, because here.
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: The board, the board going to be a little more complicated due to timing.
Board President Ann Williams: Because I know everything that he needs and you’ve talked about is internal as files expresses.
Parent Damon Barone: Uh hum.
Board President Ann Williams: Me working with the board right now, that’s just a different kind of a thing. Seriously, I can’t even get them to come and have a meeting about a board counsel. And I don’t know, I’m trying not to sound so frustrated about that thought.
Parent Damon Barone: So, a phone conversation, in two weeks a phone conversation?
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: Yea I mean just a phone call to say ok here is where we are.
Parent Damon Barone: Got you.
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: Can we meet or something like that?
Board President Ann Williams: And, and help me out, because like I said I’m at a campus out there in Spring and they don’t care two cents on the dollar about me being no board person coming out here. You know what it is like at the end of the school year. Just let me get through that process.
Parent Damon Barone: Just offer me that same courtesy as a parent and taxpayer, is all that I am saying.
Board President Ann Williams: Absolutely
Parent Damon Barone: And I don’t hear back from anyone in two weeks what should I do?
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: I would say call, either call Ms. Battle or call Ms. (?)
Parent Damon Barone: Ok
Board President Ann Williams: Call Carmilla
Parent Damon Barone: Ok
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: Carmalita is the boards secretary
Board President Ann Williams: Carmalita is my person, is our person, and she’ll set up the appointment.
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: You’ll get that information. We will call you back.
Parent Damon Barone: Ok
Board President Ann Williams: So, I will definitely do that, and Mr. Chambers will do that.
Superintendent Henry David Chambers jr.: We can definitely do that.
Board President Ann Williams: So, the first part is for him to do his, uhm you know, because once I share with the board the notes that I have here, and they are going to ask, I know the first thing that they are going to say is what are, what were the termination based upon? So, we want to have those documents available. And I’m going to tell you, give me another week. Let me tell you why. Tomorrow we are doing the evaluation and that process. We need time to be able to talk to the board. They need time to be able to…
Parent Damon Barone: But I think that I deserve a follow up. Two weeks is stretching it.
Board President Ann Williams: No, no, you will get your follow up. You’ll get your follow up. I’m just saying for me to meet again. Because in two weeks Damon, the board will be at the regular board meeting. You understand what I am saying? So, give me that, and then after that, after that board meeting, when we, you know, have the real discussion about it, then I can tell you where it comes from, from the board point of view. You understand what I am saying, the process that I just walked through?
Parent Damon Barone: Yea I hear you.
Board President Ann Williams: Ok. So, but that does not hinder you from or Jessica or Carmalita, because if I come up with something else Ill, ill do it through Jessica and Carmalita and Cc you on it. Is that fair enough?
Parent Damon Barone: Yes.
