Raise your hand for your own children

47 minutes and 6 seconds into the video Channel 2 News investigative reporter, Bill Spencer, asks the superintendents a simple question, “This is the question, and it’s personal. If your children, if you have children, which would you rather them do, learn at home or go to school? All those who would like their own kids, would feel comfortable sending your own kids to school raise your hands”.

I noticed not a single superintendent said a thing about state funding for online learning versus in school learning when their decision had a direct impact on their own families and/or the ones who they love.

Please let the leaderships reluctance to raise their own hands sink in on the brains of parents, community members and district staff (ALL STAFF not just teachers) when following school leaderships recommendations for US/WE/YOU non-superintendent family members to return to school, because they will lose 2-5% ADA funding from the federal government for online learning.
