Our tax money pays for technology

I sure wish Alief ISD was proud to announce that they were going to start live-streaming ALL school board meetings like I have asked for for the last two years. Several community members have also asked that school board meetings be live-streamed so that our community can be more engaged in the business of the district, and how our tax money is being spent. The only time our elected officials (school board members) seem to want our community involved in district business is when school board elections are coming up and then they want our votes and seem to care about hearing our voices. Not voting at school board elections is just like voting to put the wrong person into the seat.

I (Trustees name) do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of Board of Trustees (board  position #) of the Alief Independent School District, and the state of Texas, and to the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the constitution and laws of the United States of America, and of this state, so help me God.
