Time for New Leadership in Alief

Superintendent Chambers it sounds to me like you can not do the ONE job that you were hired to do, and that is provide a quality education to our kids. If we can not count on you and your hand picked administrative staff to educate our children then why are you here in Alief, besides collecting a $400,000 a year paycheck from our taxes? Let me get this straight, Alief parents and community members do not have a voice in our own school district, and now you want to come up with your own rating system to grade your failing efforts of the districts mission. The State of Texas gave Alief ISD a C letter grade and Superintendent HD Chambers wants give himself a modest A letter grade out of thin air for the piss poor work of him and his hand picked administrators. Where do they do that at? Can the Alief teachers perform their own evaluations now too? Can the Alief students provide their own grades to themselves as well? The answer to both of those questions are NO! So you can not lobby to come up with your own self evaluation either. Further more you just told on yourself. How in the hell did you come up with an A rating on your HD Chambers grading scale and 6 of Alief’s elementary schools are in improvement required status about to be taken over by TEA, with  2 more elementary schools approaching improvement required status. 33% of the districts elementary schools are failing yet HD Chambers platform is EARLY EDUCATION of all things. Get the hell out of here! Fire yourself, and take the school board with you!

Alief School Board elections are coming up in November of 2019. Make sure that you vote!
