Top Heavy Financing

There was a questioned posed by Superintendent Henry D. Chambers Jr. to teachers, “Alief can not afford raises for teachers. In order to do so we would have to cut teachers. Which teachers would you prefer the district to fire so that you can get your raise?” Alief ISD is financially top heavy not bottom heavy. The true question that Alief should pose is what administrators and administrative staffing can the district get rid of at the Admin building and still thrive efficiently by supporting the teachers whom are directly in contact with our children and their direct education.
