What amazing momentum in this phase of the campaign. Here are a few updates to keep you in the loop.

1. We have broken through 3,000 signatures in under two weeks. The total as of this moment is 3,370! I expect that we will get over 5,000 signatures sometime this week. This is truly remarkable and shows the power of people standing together for core community values and sharing with others. People from all across the political spectrum are signing the petition (amazing to see us come together in this way). Based on what I am seeing, the best way to get the word out is for you to share the petition along with your thoughts via Facebook.
2. An article was published this week in My Edmonds News online. The article did a good job of articulating the issue and was generous in sharing out the links. 3. There is only one of me and there are over 3,000 of you. Feel free to continue to get the word out (show up at council meetings and make public comment, take photos of the beach and share them online, attend candidate forums and ask the “yes or no” question about their position on this issue, etc.). My only requests are that we keep it real, we keep it civil, and we are relentless until we save the beach!
