Good Morning Fellow Residents, Commuters and Petition Supporters
I concluded 5 days at Leppington Station collecting signatures for the 2020 Extend the South West rail link Petition with a total of 950 signatures so we only have 9050 to go to reach our target of 10,000 to get this discussed in Parliament.
As I mentioned in the last Update IF everyone who signed the Petition at Leppington Station took a Petition Sheet home or to work to get another 10 signatures we would have hit our target this week.
I am going to spend next week from the 24th February to the 28th February at Edmondson Park Station.
Having Learned from the experience this week at Leppington Station I will be handing out both Flyers and Petition Sheets.
IF we work together we can achieve this. Remember Many hands make light work and TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More.
FOLLOWING ON FROM DECEMBER 2019 I sent an email to the 5 local MPs for an Update on the Carparking Chaos as I hadn't received answers to my questions via Facebook Page comments
This is the email sent...
Good Evening Mr Constance, Mr Lynch, Ms Gibbons, Mr Chanthivong, Mr Sidgreaves and Ms Davies I trust that everyone had a good Christmas Break, unfortunately the fires in January were unwelcome and the recent storms also caused a bit of unwelcomed damage. All that aside the time has come to revise where we are on the Carparking Chaos Campaign at Edmondson Park and Leppington Stations. This is where we left off in December 2019

Questions that need to be answered for Leppington
Hi Peter Sidgreaves MP Thank you for this news regarding the proposed increase in Car Parking Spaces at Leppington Station.
I would like you to clarify a couple of points if possible
1) Will you provide temporary Car parking spaces to alleviate the existing overflow of cars and to replace any existing Car parking Spaces that will be lost during Construction?
2) Will you assist in finding the key to Unlock the gate on the land opposite the Station that could be used for parking Now?
3) Where will the new Carpark be located?
4) Have the reports been prepared and are they available?
5) When will work actually start on the new Carpark?
Your prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.

Questions asked on her FB Post but not answered.
Hi Melanie Gibbons MP Thank you for this news regarding the proposed increase in Car Parking Spaces at Edmondson Park Station.
I would like you to clarify a couple of points if possible
1) Since Edmondson Park is NOT part of your electorate who did you consult with regarding the car parking issue?
2) Are the proposed temporary Car parking spaces to alleviate the existing overflow of cars OR is it to replace existing Car parking Spaces that will be lost during Construction?
3) Why do we have to wait another 6 months for temporary Car Parking when the Car Parking Crisis has been dragging on since 2016 and I have provided a number of possible solutions to the Minister Andrew Constance MP since May 2018?
4) Has any work progressed on either the temporary Carpark or the multi level car park since Dec 2019 ?
5) What are the start and finish dates of the new proposed 2000 space Car Park ?
6) Where will the temporary Car Park be located ?
Your prompt reply will be greatly appreciated.
Mr Lynch and Mr Chanthivong have you received replies to recent questions put to the Minister for Transport regarding this issue?
Thank You in anticipation of your prompt answers to the above questions.
Anoulack Chanthivong MP for Macquarie Fields asked the Transport Minister 6 good questions in Parliament about Edmondson Park Station on the 6th of February 2020.
1) When will Construction start on the 2000 new spaces ?
2)When will the spaces be open and ready for use?
3) Where will the spaces be located?
4) When will the temporary Carpark be ready for use?
5) Where will the temporary Carpark be located?
6) How many spaces will be available in the temporary Carpark?
