Subject: RE: Ed Park and Leppington Car Parking Solutions

Dear Michael,

There is a great deal of misinformation circulating about the new carparks. Much of this has been due to the Labor Federal Member spreading misinformation in her newsletter – unlike you, it seems she hasn’t spotted the fund in the budget to provide additional spaces across the State. Edmondson Park is part of this fund. Of course, there is also an additional line item for planning as well.

"You should rest assured that they are on track."

I’m not sure why you believe you would need to wait for four years for additional parking. That is not the case.

We are progressing on our promise and are ready for the government agencies, Council, landowners and the community to work together so that we get the desired outcome.

Updates will soon be posted on transport.nsw.gov.au. I suggest you keep a look out on that page for the progress.

Thank you,

Melanie Gibbons MP

State Member for Holsworthy

THIS IS FROM MY EMAIL THAT I SENT

It would be greatly appreciated if Ms Gibbons could provide answers regarding
Edmondson Park and Mr Sidgreaves regarding Leppington.
From what I have read there has been $300 million allocated to provide additional parking at a number of stations over the next 4 years. In the 2018 budget an amount of $500,000 was allocated to carry out investigations into providing a consultants reports for solutions to the Car Parking issues.
Have those reports been done?
What was the outcome of the reports?
Are the reports available to the public?

As per my last update Liverpool Council was supposed to write to the Minister  for Transport and the Premier to ask where things were up to.

Keep following my Facebook Page www.facebook.com/Michael.independent for regular posts.

Ed Park Residents I will send a special Update regarding the request to decrease residents parking for Frasers Development and how to lodge a submission if you ate concerned about that.

Leppington Station Commuters I will be out thee next Monday with another Petition regarding the Progress of extra spaces.

If I receive any further information I will certainly let you know.

In the meantime please continue to share the online Car Parking Crisis Petition www.tinyurl.com/MoreParkingNow

Have a good weekend.

Yours Sincerely

Michael Andjelkovic JP
