I emailed the Premiers Office late January 2019 regarding the Car Parking at Leppington Station and this is the written reply that I received via the post from her Parliamentary Secretary early March 2019.
Dear Mr Andjelkovic
Thank you for your correspondence 28 January 2019 regarding car parking at Leppington Station. I am replying on behalf of the Premier and I have noted your comments.
The Government has recently announced that the number of parking spaces available for customers at Leppington train station will pass 1200 under a NSW Liberals and Nationals Government.
The NSW Liberals and Nationals have committed $9 Million to deliver at least 350 additional car spaces for commuters at Leppington.
The existing northern and southern ground level car parks will be reconfigured to create more than 70 additional spaces, while work is underway to secure more land to extend the northern car park to provide another 290 car spaces.
The announcement is on top of the recent commitment of an extra 700 spaces at neighbouring Edmondson Park station.

This is my opinion regarding Leppington Station
1) The 350 extra spaces offered is just a Band aid solution to get past the upcoming Election which then means that IF the Liberal Government is returned they have another 4 years to stall.
2) 350 Spaces is nowhere near enough to solve the problem of Parking at Leppington Station.
3) The Government already own land across from the Station on Rickard road that could easily be used for temporary Car parks IF they wanted to make a decision to do so.
So I will be writing another email pointing all this out to whoever is the Premier after the election on the 23rd March 2019.
Leppington Station commuters must not be left behind so with your assistance the campaign for #MoreParkingNow in South Western Sydney must and will continue.

It’s been a long campaign to get the attention of the NSW Liberal Government to address the Car Parking Crisis issues here in South Western Sydney but we have finally done that. The Government has fallen short of committing to a Multi Level car park at Lepington BUT we still have 6 Days to help them change their mind.
