Hope everyone is doing great and had a wonderful holiday season In the month of July'2014, we did file a petition to support a full day kindergarten in Edison township and so far we have about 300 plus public votes to support this petition. We did exchange email last month but so far we have not hear anything back from Edison Board of Education for this matter. There were several options presented in the email and also on the petition website but we did not get any answer back from the Superintendent or the Edison Education Board members. We are eagerly waiting for your reply. It has been more then six month since the petition has been file on your request but we did not get any response. Our request is to take this matter seriously and assign a single point of contact person with whom we can work together to make this happen before a new school term will start in 2015 September. We have request to bring this matter in one of the Public Action Meeting and we did not see any action take for that as well. We are planing to guttering few supporters for next Edison Board Public Action Meeting which will take place at Washington Elementary School - 153 Winthrop Road, Edison, NJ, Date: Monday, January 26, 2015 at 7:00PM We would like to see a progress report from your side for this matter and it will a great news for all of us to hear a complete commitment by the board to support a full day kindergarten in 2015 year. It has been years and kids are missing a lot. They wont get their time back and private institute in or around Edison area are getting a major benefits for keeping these small kids at their facility. The reason why the private institute in Edison are for gaining benefit because Edison Board of Education is not supporting full day kindergarten. Kids are suffering, parents are not happy and it is about time to make this change to make everyone happy. Including Mayor and his team in the email so that we don't miss out anyone in the communication to pass this message across the board.
