Flyers & Frauds

Supporters, we have a new flyer to promote our petition, that you can download, print off, and disperse around your own area.

FLYERS:

The flyer has a QR Code that can be scanned by any phone camera, which then opens up the web page of our petition, where more information is available, and the petition can be signed.

We have been out with a bag full of these flyers over the past week, from Hillend to Fairmilehead, to Greenbank, to Comiston, and finally to Morningside…

We did not get one single refusal to display the flyer, everywhere said “yes” …in fact some people asked for more than one flyer.

Many business owners knew Paul as soon as he stepped through the door, welcoming him, supporting our stance, and immediately putting a flyer up.

There are two variants:

A big A4 one 

One that has two on an A4 sheet (this seems the most popular)

If you have a business, put one up in a prominent place - take a few with you when you are out in your local area – ask people if they will put one up - explain that we are not advocating for a “total ban”, we fully support professionally trained assistance dogs and dogs with mourners.

FRAUDS:

We won’t spend a lot of time on this.

The counter petition has infiltrated our private closed Facebook group (not for the first time) and now has access to the private information in that closed group.

We have strict entry rules to gain access to this Facebook group – you need to answer the following questions HONESTLY:

Question 1:

Please note that you won't be approved by the group if you don't answer the following questions. Do you agree? Y/N

Question 2:

Are you AGAINST cemeteries being used as dog exercise areas? If not, this is NOT the group for you. Y/N

Question 3:

Do you agree to abide by the group rules? Y/N

When someone fraudulently answers these questions against their beliefs, in order to fraudulently gain access to a private group, with the sole purpose of fraudulently gaining access to private information that may help an opposing third party…then that person is a fraud.

If the third party then chooses to use that private information, post it publicly, then they are complicit in the fraud.

The counter petition has done this. They, like their supporter who is taking screenshots of a private closed group, are frauds.

This does far more harm to the reputation of the counter petition, exposing the fragility of their ethics and morals, than it ever does to us….

It is an act of self-harm…

Since the two petitions launched, nearly six months ago, our petition has always had a significant lead in the number of signatures. The counter petition has never got anywhere near us…not once.

The current “Variance” figure (the gap between the number of our signatures, and the number of their signatures) is at an all time high. We just broke a new record today. At the time of writing the Variance figure is 816.

The reason we have (consistently) had more signatures is simple.

More people agree with our stance.
