The last 24 hours have been a flurry of press activity, with the story of Edinburgh Councillors considering the issue of dogs in cemeteries at the 8th August meeting of the Culture & Communities Committee.

Firstly, let us us draw your attention to The Scotsman newspaper, which contains a handy voting system on banning dogs from cemeteries - as you can see from the photo above, the public has spoken with an overwhelmingly loud voice.

87% favour some sort of ban
13% do not
