Hilton Waikoloa Village Hotel Trapping Cats for Extermination??!!!

This update bares some bad news. We have evidence that the Hilton Waikoloa Village Hotel is now trapping the cats for extermination. Yesterday they had many traps set (pictured) and had empty feeding stations in order to lure cats to the traps. And yesterday the population appeared to be down in numbers in surrounding areas to the hotel. When this petition was launched a few days ago, the Waikoloa Village Hotel was actively participating in a TNRM program. It is our belief that they are trying to reduce the numbers to get ahead of implementing TRN back to the Bay Club. Once again a Hilton property reverses its humane practices and is putting cats to their death. One of our signers commented that years of human contact and care have socialized the cats whereby they have become outdoor pets (I am paraphrasing here.) Not only is this cruelty it may also be illegal. Shame on you Hilton, when does the compassion begin? We need your support so please continue to share this petition because public opinion may be the only way to stop this travesty against these helpless cats.
