Tens of thousands of ecodiesel owners have been forced to pay out of pocket for a defective tone wheel reluctor on the 2014-2018 ram 1500s and 2014-2016 jeep grand Cherokees. Stellantis has taken 0 responsibility for the failure, and issued recall 573 20v-475 that reprograms the truck to simply not stall when the part indefinitely fails.

  We want them to take responsibility for their engineering shortcomings and fix effected vehicals instead of simply ignoring the problem. Gone are the days of $15,000 trucks/suvs. A $55,000 vehicle should not have engine failure within the first 100k miles period.

  Seeing as how the part is only $25 retail from mopar.com, fixing them shouldn't effect their ever expanding bottom line. Action should be taken by stellantis ASAP so more customers won't be left holding the bill while a massive company with profits in the billions sheds responsibility and passes more cost onto their loyal consumers.
