The Exmouth Community College Sixth Form has been made aware that we can no longer have a printer available to us in our study centre because of cost reasons. While we understand that money is an important factor when considering cutting resources, being able to print educational resources such as past papers is detrimental to our ability to achieve highly, and therefore would perhaps be worth the cost. In addition, although we are aware that there are other printer in spaces outside the Sixth Form study centre, many of us have been unable to navigate the system, so would appreciate a more accessible system, even if we are not provided with a printer within our space. 

In the last week, many of us have had difficulties sorting resources out, for example accidentally sending essays to be printed at the nursery, or sheets being lost between the computer and the printer. 

We would like to request that a conversation is had about whether this is the best course of action for reducing costs within the school, and what alternatives can be provided to alleviate some of the confusion surrounding printing. We would like to be included in this decision that affects us all.
