Disappointing News; Moving On

Dear Supporters, Thank you so much for all your support in signing and sharing the petition, speaking with your neighbors, writing to the supervisors, and attending the meeting Monday evening (in such numbers they moved the location to Hilltop House instead of the township main meeting room!). Unfortunately, despite our massive show of support for Michael, the supervisors chose to appoint another applicant, Karl Romberger, Jr. (R). I know you share our disappointment, but this fight is not over -- we're just taking it to 2018. Republicans in Easttown, Harrisburg, and beyond need to realize that a blue wave is rising up. Together *with your help,* we will elect Democrats to make sure key decisions about our community aren't taking place in a too-cozy, all-Republican environment. We believe in the marketplace of ideas. We believe sunshine is the best antidote to cronyism. And we believe, even though 3/4 of the supervisors voted to appoint another Republican, that we made a big impression. Read the Daily Local News article (see below link).
