Dear friend of Huntly Park (or perhaps we are all guardians of Huntly Park?),
Great news - we now have 900 signatories. That isn't bad given that our campaign is to save a local park. Key now is to build on that. I can think of 20 people I know who would sign but haven't seen it yet.
This is the local community's petition. We all own it and we all care enough about our community and our local environment to sign it. I am asking that we all do that little bit more and ask 5 people to join us in signing it.
We have secured great support already. You can be sure that local decision makers are noting this. Nothing is more powerful than individuals coming together as a community. By uniting as we have, we are demonstrating the power of collective community action.
