Picture this - thousands of Portlanders coming together in a grassroots movement against a proposed development. We've all seen documentaries on streaming services that showcase the injustices forced upon communities, leaving us questioning how and why these things happen. We urge you to join us in supporting East Portland.

Consider this - would you want your child playing in diesel fumes, practicing soccer in polluted air, or studying in schools with harmful pollutants known to cause cancer and other illnesses? Would you want to live in an apartment directly behind this proposed development and be priced out of escaping this terrible situation? Would you want to work in this area? Would you plant your tomatoes here? 

We beg you to sign this petition and encourage your friends, family, neighbors, husbands, wives, partners, or anyone you know to do the same. This development is not a done deal, and we have the power to stop it. Let's call on Prologis, Inc. to ask the Portland City Council to rezone another area that is not in our backyard. It is unthinkable that any CEO would deem this an appropriate use of the space, and it's disappointing that the City of Portland's government claims their hands are tied.

Let's stand together and protect the health and well-being of our neighbors. We need every signature we can get to make a real impact and show the decision-makers that this development is not what the community wants or needs.
