I am starting this petition to have speed bumps put into place along Morven road in Bearsden.

After recently loosing our 3rd cat due to them being hit by a car on our own road, I feel speed bumps (or any suitable kind of speed calming measure) would be a necessary edition to try and slow cars down. Previously cars have reached up to 60mph from one end of Morven road to the other (road is marked at 20mph)

Morven road now has more houses than before which not only means a greater number of cats for pets but also small children.

It should be law that drivers must stop for cats as they do dogs, after all any pet is like a member of the family.

Please help me slow down Morven road, for the helpless animals who suffer and potential children.
