"The petition also encouraged us to review and quantify our DSL demographics. According to our records 70% of our DSL customers use less than 15 GB/mo.. Although it is a matter of perspective, we would suggest that it is unfair to ask 70 % of the people who use less than 15 GB/mo to pay more in support of larger users who already receive discounts up to 40%. As a long time supporter of higher education in the area, EBTC wants the on line students to know that the Board is discussing new packages/plans for on line students. The Board is also discussing packages for work at home individuals and would encourage them to call our office. We need to develop a better understanding of their employer’s ‘work at home’ policies. We would like to remind people that they can sign up for our free on line customer care which allows them to monitor their usage 24/7. We also want to remind customers that they can change their package at any time between the 1st and 20th of each month." - Butch R.
