Early Detection Saves Lives — Let’s Install ZeroEyes AI Protection in Our School!
The Issue
Our Kids and Teachers Need Us
Our kids, their teachers, and everyone who walks into our school are directly affected by the growing threat of gun violence. Parents send their children to school every day trusting that they’ll be safe, but we know that danger can strike anywhere and anytime. One missed second could change everything.
What's at Stake?
If nothing changes, our school remains vulnerable in those critical first moments when a weapon is brought on campus. With ZeroEyes, guns can be detected on our existing cameras in real time, verified by trained experts in seconds, and alerts sent right away to staff and police. That early warning could save lives and give us peace of mind.
How it works
ZeroEyes doesn’t replace our cameras — it uses the ones already in place. The system is not “live monitoring.” Instead, if a gun is detected on camera, an image is instantly sent to a 24/7 operations center staffed by former military and law enforcement professionals. Within seconds, they confirm if the threat is real and send an alert with details straight to school staff and local police, giving us precious time to act before tragedy strikes. If you want to know more, watch this video.
Why Now?
Right now, we have a chance to get this protection for free. A parent at our school works with ZeroEyes and has offered to cover installation and even help secure state grants to keep it going. We can’t wait until after tragedy to act — let’s do everything we can to keep our kids safe today.
What’s next?
Once we’ve gathered enough signatures, we will present this petition to our school board and administration. Our goal is to show how many parents and community members want this safety upgrade and to urge decision-makers to move forward with installing ZeroEyes on our existing cameras. Together, our voices can make it clear that investing in this technology is a priority for the safety of our children.
