Let's push for a response

Thank you for your support. I have now sent letters to the boss of E.ON, Tony Cocker, asking for a meeting. I have also sent a similar letter to Ian Foy of Age UK Enterprises. I await a response. Tens of thousands supporters of the petition have expressed their concern and anger at the way Age UK have behaved in its commercial dealings, not solely with E.ON but also in other areas of service such as insurance, stairlifts and hearing aids. The dossier of your experiences with Age UK continues to grow and I will submit this as evidence to the Charity Commission. I have also submitted this to the Secretary of State, Amber Rudd, and also to the Shadow Secretary of state, Lisa Nandy. The Office of the Labour's Shadow Secretary of State has replied: "This story only highlights once again how the energy market needs overhauling. Next month we expect the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to publish the final conclusions of their two year investigation into the big six energy companies, and Lisa will be pushing for this to be followed up with big changes to the rules governing the whole of our energy system to end the overcharging and bring more transparency to the whole market."
