WVU Should Cancel In-Person Classes In The Fall and Lower Tuition if WVU Goes Fully Online
The Issue
With the latest spike in coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the United States, we believe it is unsafe for WVU to return to in-person classes. Both for returning students, who would put themselves at-risk to getting COVID-19, and the residents of Morgantown, with a way higher risk of contracting COVID-19 with students coming back from around the country and across the world. In turn, there should be a tuition reduction if classes do go fully online, as WVU would not have a full college experience and not as good academic experience, then students should receive some level of tuition reduction.
