Dear signatories,

It is clear there is an air of change within the Party Room.

In case you have missed it, this afternoon, Andrew Wilkie MP for Clark has gathered support from the crossbench (including Dr Ryan) to call on our Prime Minister to muster the political will of his government to ensure international institutions remain intact.

This followed Dr Ryan's media release last Wednesday, after intense lobbying by a cohort of students (present and past) who felt betrayed by the overwhelming silence for a cause they took calculated risks in fighting for, in the face of undue reprimand.

In the spirit of goodwill and as reprieve, dear comrades, a soft victory is to be called.

It is a soft victory because although there is an air of change from a minority of our leaders, it is not enough to save us from having been exposed to unimaginable horrors which will forever be seared into our memories.

A soft victory, as salve for those of us who feel deeply and remain uncalloused by what we've born witness to.

Without overindulging in our comaraderie - thank you.

Yours in solidarity,

Qiqi

Ps. Check if your upper and lower house reps have signed Mr Wilkie's call to action, keeping in mind there is an upcoming federal election.
