BREAKING NEWS - Yesterday, the St. Eustatius government announced to suspend the archeological dig and appoint two commissions; one to advise them on viable solutions and another to assist in the decision-making process. However, our fundamental questions, proposals and issues on structural descendant community involvement were not addressed. Also other issues were not addressed. It seems like they rushed to do damage control only.

So, we will continue with this struggle until they adhere to our demands. We will issue a responding press release over the weekend.
