Great meetings with Public Health, DCC, DBUG and I - there is an agreement on developing a collaborative group which includes discussion with the Greenspace programme in the University. This will involve looking at where we can build cycle paths and how monies may be pooled accordingly. In addition, I met with Roberta Blackman-Woods (Durham, MP) and she is fully supportive of the Trust Pathways. Roberta stated that as a resident she has noticed a marked increase in cyclists and the current provision needs to be reviewed and developed. Roberta and her team will liaise with Mr Terry Collins (DCC) and contribute where possible. Overall, very productive meetings and another meeting with Greenspace is scheduled this week. Plans are afoot and incremental development will proceed. I will also liaise with Sustrans to see how we can all collaborate together and make the Trust Pathways a reality in Graham's memory!
