An update on yesterday's meetings with my local councillor (Belmont) and Public Health England. Patrick Conway is very supportive in building the Trust Pathways and once we have finished discussions with Greenspace and met once more with the DCC he can assist with community groups and engagement. The idea is that gradually all residents groups, etc., will become part of the collaborative partnership to enable the pathways to benefit the whole of Durham City. Although this idea has started from the business school it is for the whole community - as Graham would have supported this too! The meeting with PHE was also good and they are keen to liaise with the partnership and provide support to the local PH team (meeting on 18th Sept). Hence, the collaborative stakeholders are coming together. I am now on leave until the end of August - so this platform will be a little quiet! Many, many thanks for all the signatures and support in Graham's honour in making the Trust Pathways come to fruition. Cheers! Karen
