CEO David Hoffmann said Dunkin’ is looking into creating a vegan donut and more vegan options are in the pipeline. Send him a quick email supporting the plant-based progress.
Animal Outlook attended Dunkin’ Brands’ annual shareholder meeting where we asked if consumers can expect to see a vegan donut or other vegan options in the near future. CEO David Hoffmann shared that not only are more menu items from the company’s partnership with Beyond Meat in the pipeline, but options are coming with other partners as well.
Hoffmann noted the oat milk that Dunkin’ will be rolling out this summer and the non-dairy ice cream sister brand Basin-Robbins began offering late last year. “As it relates to a vegan donut, we continue to investigate a viable vegan donut option. We are looking at it closely…You’re going to continue to see us put more consumer choice on the menu...” Hoffmann shared during the meeting.
Join us in applauding the vegan progress Dunkin’ is making and encourage the coffee giant to continue the momentum with a quick email to David Hoffmann at david.hoffmann@dunkinbrands.com using our sample text below or your own polite message.

Dear Mr. Hoffmann, Thank you for announcing that we will soon see more vegan options on the menu at Dunkin’. The company is clearly listening to the needs of its customers and has made great strides in the plant-based arena. I hope you will continue to be a food industry leader by becoming the first coffee giant to offer a vegan donut. Thank you.
