This Thanksgiving, we touched down at the 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day parade in Philadelphia, PA to encourage thousands of event-goers to join us in urging Dunkin’ to roll out a vegan donut nationwide! Keep the message afloat with a quick (and polite) Facebook rating!
The 6abc Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day parade just celebrated its100th year--making it the longest-running parade in the country! Thousands of people traveled from all over, lining the streets of Philadelphia to watch the hundreds of singers, dancers, and gigantic floats and balloons parade through the area. So Compassion Over Killing seized the opportunity to hand out leaflets to hundreds of attendees, encouraging the parade’s co-sponsor, Dunkin’, to roll out a vegan donut nationwide!
Dunkin’ has made great strides recently by rolling out the Beyond Sausage Breakfast Sandwich nationwide (hold the egg and cheese to make it vegan) to accompany our hashbrowns and dairy-free coffee. But we need a vegan donut to complete the meal. We had the parade grounds covered thanks to our amazing volunteers--but you can join us today in the comfort of your own home to make sure Dunkin’ continues to hear us loud and clear!
