Dunkin’ has teamed up with PEEPS marshmallow candies to offer new coffee and donut flavors just in time for spring festivities. Unfortunately, PEEPS aren’t vegan--and neither are any of Dunkin’s donuts. Join us in asking the coffee giant to be kind to real peeps--the birds suffering in the egg industry--by leaving a review on Dunkin’s Facebook page politely asking for a vegan donut!
To promote the new limited-time flavors, Dunkin’s “coffee car” is visiting 6 Dunkin’ locations this week accompanied by the PEEPSMOBILE. So Compassion Over Killing is meeting them at stops in Woonsocket, RI, and Dunkin’s hometown of Quincy, MA with geo-targeted cell phone ads encouraging the coffee giant to be kind to real peeps by offering a vegan donut nationwide.
In 2014 Dunkin’ took a leap in the right direction by pouring out almond milk for our dairy-free coffee. But since then, the coffee giant has stalled out with its vegan options. If Dunkin’s team is creative enough to roll out all of these new seasonal flavors, why can’t they create a vegan donut to cater to the massive, growing market of compassionate eaters?
Help us fly the message on our geo-targeting ads home by leaving a review on Dunkin’s Facebook page politely asking for a vegan donut!
Thank you for spreading your wings for birds (and cows)!
