Two months ago, I started this petition with a clear message: Dump Trump—a global call to Americans to defend democracy and global responsibility. Today, with 619 signatures from around the world, I want to thank each of you for standing with us. Your support means everything.

The events of the past months have only reinforced the urgency of our cause. The escalating conflict in Iran, backed by the U.S. and Israel, is a stark reminder of how easily international law and diplomacy are cast aside when nations act unilaterally. How can the world trust a system where rules apply to some but not to others? After the horrors of World War I, the League of Nations was created to prevent such tragedies through cooperation. It failed. After World War II, the United Nations was founded to try again—this time with a Security Council to mediate conflicts and uphold justice. Yet, Trump’s administration has not only ignored the UN but actively undermined it, reducing its role to a backdrop for empty gestures.

History teaches us that when nations abandon diplomacy for unilateral action, the consequences are devastating. The UN was designed to prevent this—imperfect, yes, but essential. Trump’s dismissal of it risks unraveling decades of progress toward a rules-based world.

Our petition is a call to restore that progress. It’s a plea to Americans to reject a leadership that scorns cooperation and to reclaim their country’s role as a force for good.
