The growth of solar power via community-based systems is accelerating throughout the US as more utilities develop or roll out offerings. Join NAACP Indiana in demanding that our utility companies offer ownership and equity opportunities for solar projects. 

Currently, Duke Energy's proposal is far from perfect but with the right changes, it could expand the number of solar owners in Indiana by more than tenfold — allowing Hoosiers to tap into the renewable resource that couldn’t before. We plan to take these signatures to the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and ask for their help protecting our right to community solar!
