It happened again just now.

This happens way too often, and sadly this duck was close to my heart, its always harder when I have a bond with them.

RIP Maisy, Donald (bf) and Snow (sister) will miss you, and so will I.

I watched the car run her over, it had plenty of time to see the 4 ducks crossing, 2 of which were mostly white and stand out, it was not raining, there was no sun glare, it was a straight part of the road and they had plenty of time to see them crossing. They didn't slow down and left her there for dead in the middle of the road. I saw the entire thing. I picked up Maisy with my bare hands while she took her last breaths with guts hanging out of her.

She was only 1 year old and she was such a beautiful girl, always hanging out with her white sister "Snow" and boyfriend "Donald" (also in the photo).

I've lived this situation too many times and it breaks my heart so much that after years of duck rescue and living in Mannering Park my entire life, I have to leave because of people like this. I hate that I won't be around to help them anymore but I can't live my whole life stressed and depressed seeing this cruelty constantly.

And the council won't even out up some cheap signs!!!
