Thanks for supporting our petition -- please help us find more supporters

Thanks to everyone's collective efforts, 285 people have signed on to our petition. Because we have so many new people, I want to just take a moment to specifically offer my appreciation and offer a welcome. We started this petition with just four people and in three weeks have grown it to 285. This is all word of mouth spread by people who believe in the cause and want to help. If each person who has signed this can encourage just one more person, we can make our voices heard loud and clear on this issue. So, although we have made great progress, we still have a way to go. The past two days have been phenomenal, and the issues are becoming very clear now to more and more people. The community needs this new library and we can't afford to wait an undetermined number of years. The new library is designed by a leading architectural firm, the building is dramatic and inspirational, and will be a great addition to the downtown area. It will fit well with decisions already made about new development that is nearing completion west of the river, and with the new bridge and all the new stuff on the east side. PLEASE take a few minutes to encourage a couple of friends, family members, neighbors or coworkers to join us in supporting this important community project. Thanks again for all you do.
