J&K Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expresses deep concern over the rising menace of drug & alcohol consumption in our society. In a region known for its rich cultural and traditional values, the open and unfettered use of such substances poses a serious threat to the moral & social fabric of our community, alongside compromising the safety of women, children and tourists who visit us from across the globe.

Therefore, we call upon the Government to implement a ban on these substances & public consumption of alcohol across Jammu & Kashmir.
