The State has refused to drop charges against Saber and after multiple delays, a trial has been set for Friday, January 27, at 1:30pm at the State Courthouse at the corner of Punchbowl & Halekauwila Streets.  A Press Conference will be held at noon in front of the Courthouse, when the petition (with signatories) will be provided to the press.  Between now and the 27th spread the petition everywhere.  

The charges against Saber are outrageous!  While the State has dropped charges of assault, Saber is still being tried for harassment.  This is bogus.  The real harasser was James (Kimo) Wallace, a fascist misogynist and known provocateur who taunted and photographed individual Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights supporters who were holding a peaceful signholding in Waikiki.  Saber is a Black, LGBTQ activist who was visiting Honolulu when she witnessed the harassment and courageously videoed him.  

Saber lives in San Francisco and must return to Honolulu for trial.  She has had to secure an attorney and has made several court appearances over the past six months.  In the meantime, this provocateur has escalated his attacks on Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights supporters, boasting of filing complaints against several protesters, taunting, and making veiled threats of violence.  He is also continuing to harass people entering the Planned Parenthood Clinic.  He does not come to exercise his right to free speech.  He comes to provoke, spread his hateful misogynist lies, intimidate and silence voices for choice.  It is up to us to stop this!
