Dozens of people have been arrested and charged for protesting against the Landforces weapons expo, which used taxpayer money to bring Israeli weapons companies to Melbourne from 11-13 September 2024. Thousands attended the protests, and police responded with extreme force. They used rubber bullets and flash grenades against demonstrators, and hit people with batons and riding crops. Many protesters were hospitalised.

Now, Victoria Police are continuing their attempts to terrorise and intimidate protesters by carrying out home raids and arrests. Everyone should have the right to demonstrate, and police must be held accountable for their extreme use of force.

We call for all charges against demonstrators against the expo to be dropped.
