Hello DTLW Jetty Team,

I wanted to share an important update ahead of tomorrow’s Northumberland County Board of Supervisors meeting.

Supervisor Chip Williams called today and confirmed that I can present our resolution during Public Comment on November 13. He also shared that the resolution will be placed on the Board’s agenda for the December 11, 2025 meeting, following a routine legal review to ensure the language is clear and accurate.

Once the December agenda is posted, we will have a better idea whether the item is listed for formal action or discussion/presentation, but having it on the agenda is a meaningful step forward.

I want to be sure everyone has the right expectations going into tomorrow’s meeting. Your presence and support remain incredibly important — public comments show the Board how strongly our community supports this project — but the formal Board consideration will happen in December.

Separately, I understand there was a productive coordination meeting today among Northumberland County, NNPDC, VIMS, and Shore Consulting to continue working through dredge material placement options. This type of technical collaboration is essential for completing the Joint Permit Application, and it is encouraging to see steady progress.

More updates will follow as information becomes available.
