Millions of Muslims celebrate Eid al Fitr & Eid al Adha every year. The Holidays signify the end of the holy month of Ramadan in which people fast from dawn till dusk as well as the pilgrimage known as Hajj. The Muslims in our Syosset community would benefit from the day in order to observe the holiday with family & friends near and far. Due to the high academic demand in our community, students in Syosset school district are choosing not to observe the holiday in fear of decline in their performance.
