It is amazing to see the love and support all of you have for the libraries and librarians in the district. Thank you for your comments! We must continue the fight. The Board of Education is voting on Monday March 21st on these cuts, and we must make it clear to them that librarians and quality library programs should not be on the chopping block. Thank you to all those who came and spoke at Monday's meeting about the value of libraries. The board and the administration are feeling the pressure. Please consider coming to speak at the March 21st BOE meeting where the budget will be voted on. A large turnout could really help to sway the Board Members.
